Helping people heal is particularly important to Leslie because she sustained a spinal cord injury in a near fatal car wreck in 1997. She has a Masters degree in Rehabilitation Counseling, is a Certified Trauma Professional, and is now on her way to obtaining her full LPC license. Leslie has a particular interest in trauma because she knows that it's biologically impossible to talk your way out of it. She uses Brainspotting, which accesses the subconscious brain through the visual field and uses bilateral music stimulation. Leslie also uses Polyvagal Theory which rewires and cues the nervous system towards safety and not easily triggered. Leslie has specialized training in addictions, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and personality disorders. She's a Certified Narcissistic Abuse Specialist and a Level 3 Brainspotting Practitioner. Leslie is on a quest of serving others by guiding them out of trauma and helping them find their own paths to happier lives. She believes we are all connected, so when one person heals, the whole community begins to heal.
